GPS service of Post of Srpska Halo Centre facilitates satelite vehicle tracking by the means of GPS and GSM/GPRS technology. It is possible to locate vehicle in any time and the data about vehicle status and position can easily be acquired by SMS or Internet.

GPS system of vehicle positioning and tracking is most often used by: transportation firms, Rent-a-car agencies, lizing houses, insurance firms, vehicle owners, etc. Implementing GPS service creates ability of vehicle usage control, more efficient vehicle fleet management, traffic jam avoidance and the risk of car theft is highly reduced.

Besides, we are planning to offer information from Halo! Centre database (phone numbers and addresses of residents and business subjects, details about enterprises and their activities…) to INFO-kiosks users. INFO-kiosks are installed at Main post offices in Banja Luka, Doboj, Brcko, Bijeljina and Zvornik; their installations are expected in Prijedor, Srbinje / Foca, Trebinje and Sokolac, very soon.

On the occasion of the World Post Day, Post of Srpska has given to its clients new phone numbers with new services:

By calling 1372 you can order wake-up call, call reminder for a meeting or taking medicine on time. This service of Halo! Centre of Post of Srpska, available 24 hours a day, is the most accessible service comparing to other service providers of its kind in Republic of Srpska. At the beginning of April 2004 Halo! Centre has signed two new contracts – one with Raiffeisen Bank and another with Primera Look Modeling Agency. The arrangement with Raiffaisen Bank refers to information about Western Union services at 1371, and with Primera Look agency voting by phone number 092/57-1434 for Miss Barby and Miss Teen Competitions is arranged.

Since September 01, 2003 Halo! Centre marketing campaign had started with work. It includes TV and radio commercials, flyers and posters which you can find in all Post of Srpska.

On August 01, 2003, Halo! Centre Web Presentation was officially established. Discover more about us - who we are, what we are engaged in, what we are planning in the future, what services are available at our numbers 1369, 1370, 1371, and also find out something about Halo! Centre special services for all clients that are interested in.

On May 13 Halo! Centre completed its technological process of providing services through introducing a night shift, so as of that date this specialized contact centre operates 24 hours a day. Halo! Centre short numbers started operating on May 5 and for the present information are provided at the following numbers: 1371 (general information), 1370 (phone directory) and 1369 (information updating and suggestions).

Post of Srpska engineers presented the basic features and possibilities of Halo! Centre and ISP Spinter in Sokolac (March 03), Srbinje (March 04) and Trebinje (March 05).

Promotion for Sokolac took its place in "Romanija" Hotel, for Srbinje in "Zelengora" hotel, and for Trebinje at the Main Post Office Press Centre. These presentations, as well as all previously held in locations of Post of Srpska branch offices, were primarily oriented to managers of private and state companies.

Presentations of Halo! Centre and Internet Service Provider Spinter.net were held in February in five cities of Republic of Srpska: Brcko (February 03), Bijeljina (February 04), Zvornik (February 05), Prijedor (February 18), and Doboj (February 19).

All possibilities of Halo! Centre and Spinter were presented on these occasions, and they were primarily focused on managers of business companies in mentioned municipalities.

On St. Sava’s Day, this year (27.01.2003), a large family of postmen in Republic of Srpska became richer for one more member – Halo! Centre. This specialized Contact Center – first of its kind in RS and BiH - was officially opened by Mr. Milutin Pejic, General Director of Post of Srpska, in the presence of many /numerous/ guests and media representatives.

About 1,5 million KM is invested in the Halo! Centre, and initially the users will have three types of services at disposal: providing information, telemarketing and renting infrastructure to interested entities. In situation when many companies are discharging their workers, Post of Srpska can be proud of with 55 new employees, young people mostly.

Halo! Centre test phase will last a little over a month, and during that period the basic database will be formed.
